Every wave of life brings new ways of becoming. Here, you are invited to breathe, to heal, and to grow into what comes next.

“For me, the ocean has always been a place of grounding, a reminder that even in constant motion, we can feel steady and connected. I carry this into my work as a therapist. I believe we are all still becoming, shaped by each season of life, each challenge, and each wave that shifts our shoreline. Therapy is where you can find that same sense of grounding while continuing your own process of becoming.”

Jennifer Ellis, LCSW, PMH-C

Get to know me...

Hi! I'm Jennifer, founder of Still Becoming Therapy. I’m a therapist, a mom, and a firm believer that none of us are ever “finished", we’re all still becoming. With over 13 years of experience, I’ve supported people through many phases of life, from childhood into adulthood, helping clients navigate anxiety, grief, relationship stress, and identity shifts. My passion for this work and my own personal experiences with growing my family and becoming a parent, led me to specialize further in supporting expectant and new parents, and I hold advanced certification in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C).

My approach is warm, collaborative, and real. I believe therapy is about growth, reconnecting you with the parts of yourself that may feel lost or just beginning to emerge. Whether you are adjusting to parenthood, moving through a major transition, or simply trying to find your footing when life feels overwhelming, my goal is to create space for both the hard stuff and the hope.

 Services

At Still Becoming Therapy, I believe every stage of life brings its own challenges, and opportunities for growth. Whether you’re navigating the early days of parenthood, managing the stress of family life, or simply craving space to reconnect with yourself, therapy offers a place to feel understood and supported. My goal is to provide a grounded, compassionate space where you can untangle what feels heavy, build practical tools, and begin to feel more like yourself again.

Individual

Individual therapy is a space just for you, to sort through the noise, find your voice, and feel supported as you navigate life’s challenges and changes.

Perinatal Therapy

Perinatal mental health focuses on the emotional well-being of people during fertility, pregnancy, and the first year after birth. This season of life brings big changes; physically, emotionally, and relationally. And while it can be joyful, it can also feel overwhelming. As a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional (PMH-C), I have advanced training in supporting individuals and families through these transitions. This includes challenges such as postpartum depression, anxiety, intrusive thoughts, birth trauma, grief and loss, and the identity shifts that come with becoming a parent. It’s important to know these experiences are not limited to mothers, partners can also struggle with postpartum depression and anxiety. Perinatal therapy offers a compassionate space for both parents to feel supported, understood, and less alone in their journey.

Parent Support

Parenting is rewarding, but it can also feel exhausting, overwhelming, and lonely at times. Parent support offers a space to process the challenges, better understand your child, strengthen your confidence, and nurture a stronger parent–child relationship, so you feel less alone in the hard parts of raising kids.
